Full-Stack Developer (Publishing Platform)

About the role

A media platform is a software product. You will build and run the systems our newsroom publishes through, from the editing interface to the delivery layer to the dashboards that tell us which stories actually landed.

What you will do

• Build and maintain the publishing platform and editorial tooling
• Ship a fast, accessible front end with full right-to-left support
• Integrate distribution and analytics across our social channels
• Own performance, uptime and page-speed on high-traffic news days
• Work directly with editors to remove friction from their workflow

What we are looking for

• 4+ years full-stack experience, ideally on content or media products
• Strong JavaScript plus a server-side language such as Python
• Practical experience with RTL layouts and Arabic typography on the web
• A bias toward shipping and measuring rather than long planning cycles
